The SVHOA Board of Directors have approved dues for 2010. Annual dues are $225, which is a $20 decline from 2009. Alleyway dues have increased to $56 per home, this is a $7 increase from 2009. All other dues are unchanged.
The next meeting of the SVHOA Board of Directors is set for Tuesday, January 12th @ 7pm at Southern Village Club. This meeting & all meetings of SVHOA is open to the general public. If you have questions or would like to address the board, please send an e-mail to manager@southernvillage.org.

On Sunday, December 13th the 6th Annual Southern Village Holiday 5K & Family Fun Run will take place throughout Southern Village. 2009 Southern Village Light a Luminary for Ronald McDonald House is Saturday, December 19th. Please give generously. We are on our way to reaching this year’s goal of $12,000. Donations are being collected by Cara Callahan at 404 Highgrove Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27516. We need your help! Our team will meet in the SV clubhouse parking lot at 11:00 a.m. to make and distribute 7,000 luminaries throughout SV in support of sick children and their families. Candle lighting will begin at 5:00 p.m. We plan to have food, music and fun. Bring friends and neighbors. Questions? Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic, a non-profit organization that provides audio textbooks and novels for students with visual impairments and learning disabilities is offering Fresh North Carolina Frasier Fir Trees and Wreaths at low retail prices that can be delivered to your home or pre-ordered and selected at an event on December 6, 2009 from 1pm-6pm at The Hogan Farm Club House in Chapel Hill.
