The annual SVHOA membership meeting, or AGM, is set for Wednesday, February 17th @ 7pm at Christ Church. This meeting & all meetings of SVHOA is open to the public. Finally, the AGM packet has been mailed.

Southern Village is full of single family homes, townhomes, condos and businesses. All of us need to deal with trash and the proper disposal of it. Please be considerate of others and do not dump your trash where it does not belong. There are several private dumpsters throughout the village, one at Southern Village Club, another at Edgewater Condos and several near the business district.
These are private dumpsters that are not open for Southern Village residents to dump their trash without permission. Please know it is against the law to dump your trash in another’s dumpster, such is called a theft of service. The owners of all the private dumpsters throughout Southern Village thank you in advance for your support.

The SVHOA Board of Directors will meet on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 @ 7pm at Southern Village Club (601 Brookgreen Drive). This meeting & all SVHOA meetings are open to the public. If you would like to address the Board, please e-mail manager@southernvillage.org.

We will be electing two new directors to the five-person SVHOA board at the association’s annual meeting early in 2010. Consequently, the Nominating Committee is seeking names of possible candidates.

The SVHOA Board of Directors have approved dues for 2010. Annual dues are $225, which is a $20 decline from 2009. Alleyway dues have increased to $56 per home, this is a $7 increase from 2009. All other dues are unchanged.
