The SVHOA February Manager’s Report is now available.

As a reminder, the annual meeting of the SVHOA is set for tomorrow (2/28) night at 7pm at Christ Church.  This meeting & all meetings of the SVHOA is open to the public.

This month there are two important meetings of Southern Village Homeowners Association (SVHOA).  First, the annual general meeting (or, AGM) is set for Tuesday, February 28, 2012 @ 7pm at Christ Church.  Second,immediately after the AGM, the SVHOA Board of Directors will meet to elect officers & set the meeting schedule for 2012/13.  These meetings & all meetings of SVHOA are open to the public.

Southern Village Club has partnered with Tutor Doctor of Chapel Hill to ascertain interest in after school tutoring for area families at the SV Clubhouse.  For more information please click on the below flyer.

The next meeting of the SVHOA Board of Directors is set for Tuesday, February 28, 2012, immediately following the AGM (annual meeting) at Christ Church, which starts @ 7pm.  This meeting & all meetings of SVHOA is open to the public.

A very tentative schedule of future Board of Directors meetings is below:

• Tuesday, April 17th @ 6:30pm at 600 Market Street
• Tuesday, July 17th @ 6:30pm at 600 Market Street
• Tuesday, October 16th @ 6:30pm at 600 Market Street
• Tuesday, January 8th (2013) @ 6:30pm at 600 Market Street

Finally, the 2013 Annual General Meeting is tentatively set for Tuesday, February 19th (2013) @ 7pm at Christ Church.  Questions?  Please e-mail: manager@southernvillage.org.

The SVHOA Manager’s Report for January is now complete.

Southern Village now has a Welcoming Committee!  It is made up of 4 Southern Village neighbors, Susan Duke, Tiffany Allen, Sue Goloby and Mary Wrighton and sponsored by the Southern Village Homeowners Association under the support of Mary Jo Coppola, board member.  The committee began by distributing SV Welcome Bags to residents who moved in to single family homes and townhomes since July 2011.  Condo residents are welcome to receive a Welcome Bag too by contacting the committee via southern.village.welcome@gmail.com.  The Welcome Bags are filled with goodies from our Market Street merchants.  We will also be having quarterly Meet & Greets, which new residents are welcome to join – more info will be available on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/SVWelcome as details become available.

The next meeting of the SVHOA Board of Directors will be Tuesday, January 10, 2012 @ 6:30pm at 600 Market Street (2nd Floor Conference Room).  This meeting & all meetings of SVHOA are open to the public.
