The SVHOA Board of Directors has prepared an update on its search for a new management company. Click here for a copy.

The SVHOA Board of Directors is currently drafting the 2008 SVHOA Budget. We will discuss this budget throughout the fall before finalizing at the end of the year. Once finalized it will be presented at the 2008 SVHOA AGM. It is our hope the budget process will involve feedback from members of SVHOA and/ or SVMA. If you have questions or comments please send them to budget@southernvillage.org. Also, please consider attending our next Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 @ 7pm at the Christ Church Library, when we will be discussing the 2008 Budget at length.

We will be electing two new directors to the five-person SVHOA board at the association's annual meeting early in 2008. The vacancies arise because Tony Smith, our current President, and Bob Callanan, our Treasurer, have decided not to run for a second three-year term. Consequently, the Nominating Committee is seeking names of possible candidates. Ideally, at least one of the candidates will have financial expertise.

Please plan to come to a Southern Village Community Watch meeting on Tuesday, September 18th @ 7pm at Christ Church. The agenda will include: (1) recruiting more street captains, (2) coverage, (3) installing new community watch signs and (4) communication. Please share this information with your neighbors.
