Southern Village HOA

The Southern Village Club, proud member of the SVHOA, will re-open its pool for the summer season on Saturday, May 16th @ 10am.  If you are a member of the Club, we welcome you back for the 2009 swimming season.  If you are not a member, please consider stopping by the Club to pick-up a complimentary day pass to try it out one day this spring.

Market Street Association is pleased to announce the Southern Village Music Series for 2009. The concert series starts on May 3rd & runs through September 13th. All events are on the Village Green, weather permitting (rain location is Christ Church).

As a reminder, SVHOA Board of Directors will have a meeting tomorrow (4/28) night. The meeting is set for 7pm at Southern Village Club (upstairs). Southern Village Governor’s Club Stingrays Swim Team is holding registration at the Southern Village Club at the following times:

Registration Dates: Saturday, April 18th from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm (Parent orientation 2:30 pm and 4:00 pm)

Thursday, May 7th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Parent orientation 7:00 pm)

The new owners of Southern Village Club would like to invite all residents of Southern Village to come out and use the new tennis ball machine for free during the month of April. Reservations required. Please send an e-mail to tennis@southernvillageclub.com to reserve.

SVGC Swim Team is having a Spring Social on Friday, April 17, 2009

Come join your fellow swim team parents to kick off the beginning (well, almost) of the new swim season. This get together is a chance to visit and exchange good cheer with parents from last year and new parents that are considering joining the team for the 2009 season. The details are:

When: Friday, April 17, 2009
8:30 – 10:00 pm

Where: Southern Village Club Pool
(rain location is the clubhouse)

What: Bring an appetizer to share and a friend who wants to learn more about swim team

As a fundraiser to help get the season started, the SVGC social committee will be selling donation tickets at the door. Each donation ticket can be redeemed for a free drink (margarita or Corona) and all proceeds will benefit the swim team. Also, members of the SVGC swim team board will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

We ask that you leave the children at home — this is an adults only event please.
